Account Executive

About the role

We are growing our sales team across four cities. As an Account Executive, you will be the first point of contact for businesses discovering Kotao — from restaurants and cafes to retail shops and hotels. You will run the full sales cycle, from outreach to close, and build lasting relationships with business owners.

What you will do

  • Identify and engage potential customers in hospitality, gastronomy, and retail
  • Run product demos and consultative sales conversations
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and lead generation
  • Provide customer feedback to the product team

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of hitting targets
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel within your region

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to restaurants, hotels, or retail businesses
  • Knowledge of payment processing or POS systems
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Fluency in German, Arabic, or Spanish depending on location
  • Existing network in the hospitality or retail industry
