About the role

Our customers are the businesses that depend on Kotao every day. As a Customer Success Manager, you will be their advocate — helping them get the most out of our platform, solving problems before they become issues, and making sure every business we serve feels supported.

What you will do

  • Onboard new customers and ensure successful adoption of the platform
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts and serve as their primary contact
  • Monitor customer health metrics and proactively address potential issues
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to the product team
  • Create help documentation, guides, and training materials
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of customer success or account management experience in SaaS
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Empathy for customers and a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Experience with customer success tools and CRM systems
  • Fluency in English and German

Nice to have

  • Experience in hospitality, gastronomy, or retail
  • Technical aptitude — ability to troubleshoot software issues
  • Experience with onboarding and training programs
  • Knowledge of payment processing workflows
  • Experience at an early-stage company
